If a Webkinz retires, that means it's been the pet of the month. When a pet is the pet of the month, it means you shouldn't buy it because it will be retired. I think it means that stores will sell em rarely. it's also very rare for a Webkinz that is retired to be the pet of the month again. sometimes a retired Webkinz could be the pet of the month more than once
