It appears in these modern times that some young women don't know the meaning of 'break up' or 'ex.' Both of those mean that the relationship has ended and both people should move on. It appears that young women want to believe with all their heart (because they are hurting about the break up) that if the guy they just broke up with wants to maintain contact that it means he still loves them. In most cases this is not true. This guy is selfish to the bone and wants to remain contact with you for one of two reasons:
- He can come visit you anytime and have a sexual relationship and then walk out the door and you may not hear from him for days or weeks on end. He's using you!
- He wants to keep tabs on you (controlling you) as to whom you are dating. If he doesn't like it he will reel you in like a fish taking bait!
Tell him to take a hike! Make him work for your attention and don't chase him around. When you love someone you don't hurt them in this way.
