Different Buddhist monk traditions (Theravada, Tibetan, etc) wear different color robes as a matter of tradition. There is no rhyme or reason why one tradition or another wear which color robes. It was nothing that they got together and agreed to do. It just happened to work out this way.
well,Buddhists wear saffron, but they're monks. Christian monks normally wear earthly colors. e.g:dark green, brown

one outfit that you wear like a job
In Buddhism, the color of robes worn by monks can vary by tradition and region. In many Theravada Buddhist countries, both male and female monks typically wear saffron or ochre robes, which may appear brownish. However, in some Mahayana traditions, such as those in East Asia, monks and nuns may wear robes of different colors, including brown, depending on their specific sect. Therefore, while both men and women may wear brown robes in certain contexts, it is not universally the case across all Buddhist traditions.
mod means something to wear like an outfit
Yellow and Brown can go together depending on the outfit: A yellow shirt and brown pants would not work. But a yellow and brown shirt with jeans would look great!
