- 'Ex' means the relationship is over. You are in control of your life and you call the shots and not your ex. When you have broken up it is far better to move on in your life and start seeing your friends; have fun and free yourself up to date. If you hang around as your exes friend all he may want is sex knowing full well you are hoping to get back together again when he has no intention of doing so. You are stronger than that so say, 'No thanks!' Move on!
