You might want to examine the rest of the relationship. "Adorable" is simply 'worthy of adoration.'

I wouldn't assign too much significance to the words alone, you should consider actions are more telling than words. I would take it as a compliment but you must consider the source. How old is he? Is he interested in you? Was it meant as a show of affection? As the first person answered, actions speak louder than words.
