it is only lifting very slightly when i rev the engine

Engine 1.1i = 3.2 litres Engine 1.4i = 3.2 litres Engine 1.6i = 3.2 litres Engine 1.4HDi and 1.4HDi 16V = 3.8 litres
Most probably as they are both 1.9d, however the emmissions of the older engine might not be up to the mark to pass the MOT on a newer vehicle.
