They mean that in order to make the future world a place that our grand children would be glad to be born into we should "go green".
Pathos only
The statement uses ethos by appealing to the audience's sense of responsibility toward future generations. It also employs pathos by evoking emotions related to caring for the environment. Additionally, it includes a call to action, urging individuals to adopt sustainable practices.
My cousin will inherit my grandmothers estate when she dies.
Yes
While our own governments in the United States and Canada do little to 'go green' it is important that as many individuals as possible do their part to 'go green' even if it makes a small difference. There are groups fighting their governments to leave a better world for children to grow up in. Often people who 'go green' can be called 'tree huggers' in a joking manner, but it is so important to ignore these ignorant comments and do the best you can. It may appear that you are doing very little to help leave this world in a better state than it is, but if everyone had that attitude we will lose the lush and ever so balanced world that was created. There are many people out there that are 'going green'; protecting species of animals; keep lakes and rivers pristine and saving more farm land for future generations. It is evident that the lack of food source will get worse and it is important land is made more available. Water is a gift and not something to be abused and people are fighting to keep waters clean and a good source of water especially with the population explosion.
Buy them, steal them, inherit them, make them.
