throttle plate stuck? I'm not sure. When I'm driving, I take my foot off the gas and the car jerks and when I have to stop and I push on the brakes the car revs and jerks forward and occasionally stalls
it basically lets the bike work at higher revs, for example on mine it gives it unlimited revs, so it wont stop at about 6000rpm like a normal bike but just keep going, it can be bad because if the revs get too high the engine may explode
Try your idle air control valve.
I would first check the transmission fluid level.
Split pipe on the vacum system look at the plastic pipe off the servo and look for splits
If the car is doing this whilst cold, check to see of the Power Heat button is on. This is located down by the instrument panel light adjustment switch and headlight adjustment selector. The Power Heat lifts the revs up until the engine is warm. Works good for cold winters mornings. You will find if this is causing your high revs when idle, they will stop when the engine is warm. If you do not have the Power Heat option, it may be a sticky cable or the idle adjustor is set to high.
it could be due to the steper motor but i suggest you take it to mechanic because no saxo has ever had a carburetor
If you are saying it vibrates while applying the brakes just before you come to a stop, then the brake rotors are warped. You will need to have them turned and trued, and replace the front brake pads. If you are saying it vibrates while you are sitting still, then look for a vacuum leak.If you are saying it vibrates while applying the brakes just before you come to a stop, then the brake rotors are warped. Hi there my 2005 transit I s keeping high revs when I stop pedal is free but I switch van of and it is fine but every 30 min same thing can any one help
Touch the string with your hand or finger.
If it only vibrates at idle in gear it more than likely has a severe vacuum leak. Can also be a broken engine or transmission mount.
Engines do not vibrate unless they starve on air or gas. What might vibrate when you are slowing down is wore brake disks or faulty bearings.
