∙ 11y agoIt may depend on your own gender and orientation. If you are a man, you might feel like you've married your own mother or that the person you are engaged to is like your mother. If you are a woman, it could mean that you have become like your mother and you are marrying who she might.
Or it could be a way of feeling abandoned. Just like some may feel abandoned when a parent remarries, you may feel that she abandoned you by dying. Blaming the deceased is part of the grieving process for some people.
If you are religious and optimistic, you might consider death as being a part of a wedding feast between someone and their Creator. So if your mother was a believer, you might see her death as a way for her to get to marry God, Jesus, or whatever deity. So rather than a sad dream, it could be a comforting dream. If she is getting married, she is in a sense alive and well, even if in another form.

Most of my dead acquaintances are silent in my dreams. After a very long period of time, I finally heard my deceased mother speak in my dreams.
