Dreams about death almost always reflect a significant change in the dreamer's life. Other persons - such as an ex mother-in-law - symbolize some aspect of the dreamer's self. A mother-in-law is a mother figure, suggesting the nurturing and care-giving aspects of the self. An ex-[anything] refers to something that is past and no longer an active influence in one's life.

That some one you know could pass away too.

Dreams of the deceased are normal during the period of mourning, and help the mind accept the reality and permanence of death. The "marriage" in this dream could represent the mother's new state. Just as one "dies" to the single life when one begins married life, this dream illustrates that another phase of the mother's life has ended. It presents death as just another phase of life, different but just as real as life in the physical body. This idea is consistent with the affirmation of most traditional faiths, which teach that life, love, and caring for others continues beyond death.
It may depend on your own gender and orientation. If you are a man, you might feel like you've married your own mother or that the person you are engaged to is like your mother. If you are a woman, it could mean that you have become like your mother and you are marrying who she might.
Or it could be a way of feeling abandoned. Just like some may feel abandoned when a parent remarries, you may feel that she abandoned you by dying. Blaming the deceased is part of the grieving process for some people.
If you are religious and optimistic, you might consider death as being a part of a wedding feast between someone and their Creator. So if your mother was a believer, you might see her death as a way for her to get to marry God, Jesus, or whatever deity. So rather than a sad dream, it could be a comforting dream. If she is getting married, she is in a sense alive and well, even if in another form.
The interpretation depends on several things, such as the emotional tone of the dream, whether it was terrifying, joyful, mournful or filled with anxiety. It also depends on what was said or done by you and the mother-in-law in the dream.
> If you are grieving the mother-in-law's recent death, then the dream could be a natural part of the mourning period; an expression of your subconscious mind's struggle to accept the reality and permanence of death.
It means you are completely normal.
It means that your mother is telling you that she is still with you to help you threw prublems and wants you to know she is never leaving in your heart and mind.
Just out of curiosity, was this deceased person who was alive in your dream capable of talking? Furthermore, are they capable of talking directly to you? Most of my dead acquaintances are silent in my dreams. After a very long period of time, I finally heard my deceased mother speak in my dreams. IMO, they aren't capable of speech until they reach their final resting place with our heavenly Father.
The dream is triggered by the dreamer's own emotions about the recent death. The subconscious mind often has difficulty accepting the reality of death and will attempt to restore the relationship through dream images.
His mother is Puerto Rican and deceased father never married to her is African American.
I don't know the law in the US but I am sure that the mother of a deceased person could NEVER sell the property of his spouse (widow?) or even the deceased's property as the spouse (widow) would be next of kin and even if there was not a will the law has rules about this kind of thing Lock the woman out.
How do you locate a will of a deceased person? My father passed away last May 2011 and the Will was never showed to myself and my three sisters. My step mother has it but we have not seen it and she is selling everything that belonged to him.
dreams are subjective. it can really only be answered by the person who had the dream. "mother" can mean different things to different people. some people see mother as a positive role model, other see mother as a nurturing sole who took care of them, more still see her as some one who was never around or ignored them most of their lives, perhaps abused them. depending on your case, it can mean either you never felt close to your mother, you feel like you mother never paid much attention to you, perhaps she neglected you in life and now you see her still doing that in death. Again, very subjective. This dream suggests that the dreamer has completed the grieving process and is ready to "let go" of attachment to the mother and move on with life.
