In fact, I'd suggest that you want to let any such thoughts pass, unless you are talking about a standard kind of piercing, like the ears. You are at a place where you are intensely interested in self knowledge and insight. These are extremely good things. We might gain more information with more dream details.

Do you mean a labret piercing? Because if so it depends on the person whether it hurts or not. But I personally didn't think it hurt, to me it felt like getting my ears pierced.
