This hallucination, or 'dream' you have experienced is a worldwide phenomemon. If you research a little bit, you'll find that this "black spectre" experience has been experienced by many people throughout the world and the times. Different cultures have different names for it, yet a clear rational explanation is yet to come forth.

From what I understand, this black spectre vision often appears hovering over people in the middle of the night, while the person is concurrently in a state of mental consciousness, but often can not physically move due to sleep paralysis. Sometimes people have reported experiencing a physical interaction with this black shadow, sometimes not.

This dream suggests that you feel restricted or "choked off" in some way in real life. Alternatively, you may feel that you cannot breath in the symbolic sense - you feel closed in, "suffocated." Another possibility would be feeling that you are not being allowed to express your opinions.

Nothing. Dreams are a fragment of your imagination. Anything that you can imagine or think about can occur in a dream.

That depends on the context; if you had a nasty or way too big meal prior to going to bed, don't worry about it. Seriously just cut it loose. Dreams generally fall into one of three categories;

1) Garbage dreams, namely the human mind/brain's equivalent of taking a dump, and they are a good 90% of our dreams. Because less blood flows the brain if you have a full stomach, the brain tends to acquire more mental garbage.

2) Serious symbolic dreams, the dream you are having could fall into this category especially if it's recurring. Until you get the dream's message, it won't stop.

3) The most powerful dreams of all are those indistinguishable from real life. With dream types 1 and 2, its obvious you are dreaming, because with garbage dreams especially the images tend to be all screwed up. HOWEVER, this third type of dream feels as real as the real world, usually they may predict some future event even. The more vivid the dream, the greater the likelihood the event will happen. Unless you are a person important to history though, fate is not written in stone.

Regarding what your dream means, it depends on the nature of the shadow. If its real spooky like, it means you are a nasty person, and need to seriously consider changing yourself, not through outward actions, but from the inside. If the shadow is harmless, it means you are burying emotions that are eroding your life, or, it could be a combination of both. A shadow is not necessarily an ill omen, or a portent of something bad, but rather it is a friendly warning.

I would avoid psychics if I were you; the people to consult on such things, are Buddhist fortune tellers. Buddhist fortune tellers acquire their ability to read people, from years of disciplined meditation, and practice, moreover, they are careful to avoid evil spirits. Psychics claim "there is no such thing as evil spirits" when, its a lie. As John Constantine said in the movie "Constantine," ocassionally, it is not just people who do evil, but something in the spirit world gives them the right nudge, that whisper to do something evil. Avoid contact with psychics; they do have spiritual sensitivity, but it is often used selfishly.

Dreams come from the thoughts in your mind you can't quite reach awake. Usually because your thinking of something else going on, like your surroundings or what your plans are for the day. So when you dream about choking it usually because you are scared of something going on in your reality that you don't relize until your asleep and frankly dreams are sort of an exadgeration, so dreaming of choking can be an exadgeration of what your really scared of.

This dream of being choked might be an overly dramatic expression of your feeling unable to speak or express yourself in some real life situation. Perhaps you feel that your input is not welcome or actively suppressed at work. Alternatively, you might feel that your contributions are intentionally "choked off". Yet again, one might feel "choked" by too much debt or by financial pressures.

The dream means that something is happening in your real life that causes you to feel "choked" in the sense of being unable to express yourself, speak, or do the things you need to do. It might refer to your schoolwork or job, where you feel trapped by rules and harsh authority, or it might refer to your desire to be independent of your parents or some other control that feels too constricting. Note that the dream does not necessarily show the reality of your situation but instead only illustrates your feelings about the situation.

What does my dream mean if you dreamed that someone was chasing me?

A dream about being chased means your subconscious is trying to tell your conscious mind that you are running away from something in your life. Trying to identify the chaser will help translate the meaning of the dream

What does it mean if someone warns you about your partner in their dream?

Someone else's dream is not about you at all, but about that dreamer. If someone says something about you in THEIR dream, "you" represent that other person in their own dream. On the other hand, if you dream that someone warns you about your partner, that is quite different and you should pay attention to your own dream. In this case, the "someone" in your dream represents your own mind which is trying to get you to recognize that your partner is not as wonderful as you would like to believe.

What does it mean when someone is constantly in your dreams even if the dream doesnt involve them heir just there is the dream trying to tell me something?

It is impossible to provide a reliable interpretation without actual information about the dreams themselves. Very generally, it does not seem that the dream is trying to tell the dreamer anything in particular. The "someone" appearing in the dreams might represent something that is constantly in the dreamer's thoughts. The dream provides no information about that "someone's" feelings, thoughts or condition.
