Jesus became a physical human being by His Father's Spirit - God is Holy hence, Holy Spirit. It is the power that emanated from God. The Word God became a man and dwelt with us:
Matthew 1:23New King James Version (NKJV)
23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."
Mary, because of her unique position as the mother of Jesus, conceived of her son Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit and not by normal sexual intercourse. Therefore, she remained a virgin.
Jesus told the disciples that he would send the Holy spirit , to comfort the disciples once he is no longer on earth.
The term "Holy Spirit" refers to the third part of the holy trinity of the Christian religion. It was the spirit that washed over the disciples of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion and brought them peace.
Do you mean holy water? if so...holy water is used in baptism to represent the holy spirit. This is used because when Christians believe in Jesus, the holy spirit enters them.
The New Testament states that Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Ghost. This is interpreted to mean that Jesus was a literal son of God.
Prior to the death of Jesus the "spirit", or tangible manifestation of God, would reside on the ark of the covenant or in the holy of holies. With the death of Jesus the veil was torn and God's spirit could live within his people.
To be filled with the holy spirit is to be presumed "Filled with God". What I learned in primary school, which was Christian. The Holy Spirit was Jesus after he had been killed, when you are filled with it means something like filled with High morale and such. Being filled with the HS = Filled with morale righteousness or something.
The Holy Spirit means a "Paraclete" or an advocate. The Lord Jesus also called the Holy Spirit the "spirit of truth".The symbols of the Holy Spirit are the water which signifies the Baptism, the Anointing with the oil,the Fire which symbolizes the transforming energy of the Holy Spirit, the Cloud and Light with these two images occur together, the Seal is a symbol close to that anointing, the Finger that Jesus cast out Demons, and the last one is the Dove whose symbolism refers to Baptism.
the dove means the Holy Spirit because when Jesus was getting baptized in the river Jordan a dove came and sat on him supposedly sent by the Holy Spirit.
The dove is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. At the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist, the Holy Spirit descended on him in the form of a dove, so the dove is used at both baptisms and confirmation.
It symbolises how Jesus died for them, and whilst they are underwater their sins are "washed away", which was the purpose of Jesus' death.
Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man because the Trinity is 3 persons in one God (meaning all three are truly God) and through the Incarnation Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and became both truly man and truly God.
