if you are a police officer but you kill someone in your dream it doesn't mean you will do it in real life because dreams may come true but not right away
It would be surprising if a police officer did not have dreams of killing someone. Dreaming of a frightening but realistic possibility is a way of coping with the tension of a stressful job.
