Sadly it means he doesn't want people to know that you are dating. Which might mean that you are his Back Door Babe - or someone he sees only for sex. Any time a man avoids publicly acknowledging the relationship he is trying to convince you that you two have, you can bet a game is being played and the one that is going to be hurt in the end is you. Best to dump him. He is no kind of boyfriend to have.
