I've heard a plethora of answers and I'm just going to give you all of them. Not necessarily pertaining to the right thumb, some have said that it means good luck. Others have said it means unwelcome company is coming. Then there's the simple scientific solution that it might just be Allergies, or just an itchy finger. My thumb has been itching all day and I really have no clue on the meaning of it. It all depends on your perspective; whether you are more towards the superstitious side, or if you are just a logical thinker. Either way, an itchy thumb is an itchy thumb. The best thing you can do right now is to itch it, maybe put some itching cream/lotion, and you're good to go.
