The most obvious one would be that the bulb is out and a change is required.A fuse may have gone out or if the dashboard is not lighting up,then the battery has gone flat.
There's always the possibility that the light switch is off or the engine aint switched on!
On many vehicles, that means that the daytime driving lights are on.
If the warning lights come on when you start the car, but then go back off, there is no reason for alarm. However, if the lights stay on, or come on when you are driving you should probably stop driving as soon as you can and take the car to the mechanic.
So what is the problem with my stupid car with the lights on the dashlight problem?
Do you mean "What does it mean when yourr back lights won't come on?"? Answer It probably means that one of the bulbs in your rear lights isn't working or the fuse that connects the switch/button to the lights has blown. It Try replacing the bulb first then the fuse,if nothing then go to a car dealership/garage to get a new light.

somthing is wrong with your car.
If you are wondering why this happens, it is completely normal. When you turn your key all the way to start the car, all the warning lights will come on do perform a lamp test. Also, the computer runs a quick test on all the sensors in the car and on all the lights on the dash to make sure everything is operating properly, once you start the car, these lights should all go out. If there are lights remaining lit on your dash, it may mean that your car needs to be serviced, always get warning lights checked if they come on while the car is running. Hope this helps!
When you jump start, at first there is only a little charge, and that charge has to go to all electronic features in your car, like the lights, radio, dash
What kind of flicker do you mean? I own an '05 Aveo (my first car) and I find that my running lights get dim, go back to full brightness, and repeat. My interior clock goes in and out too. Why I mention the clock is that when I did a little research, I found that the circuit for the clock and the headlights are connected. After checking it out, I found that when the lights are bright, the clock is out, and when the lights were dim, the clock was on. I don't know if this is your issue, but it could help.
