I like the guinea pig because it doesn't pee out the side of the cage. It also can be kept inside during colder weather. If you have a barn and it is temperate a rabbit seems to be rather easy.
Well here's the thing. Rabbits and dogs don't usually get along very well. No meaning to scare you but my dog was with a rabbit and rabbit ended up . . . not really there anymore shall we say. Anyways, a rabbit can be in danger if you introduce it to a dog. I wouldn't say it's the best idea. Whether it seems their good friends or not. Please take my advice.
