Well if the horses ears are just slanted backwards a little it means the horse is listening to you. but if the horses ears are all the back where they are touching the back of there neck then they are very mad.
Ears are one of a horses way of communicating emotions. "Pinned back ears" (flat behind the head) mean, don't mess with me, or I'm scared and am not happy. If the ears are soft laying back, almost in a casual flick, he's just relaxing. I call that donkey ears, my horse was blessed with huge bold ears but doesn't realize how silly he looks when he flops them behind.. Now ears can also show you where the horse is looking, or where/what he is focused on.
It means that the horse is angry or irritated.
If they are just slanted, he is listening to something behind it. If they are pinned against the head however, he is mad.
ears forward=happy ears to opposite sides=content ears slightly back-listening behind them ears flat back=angry xxx
It is listening behind him/her.But they are flat back on his/her head, him/her is angry or upset.
If your horse has it's ears slightly back then that means It's listening to something behind them. However, if your horse has it's ears pinned back all the way, then that means it's angry at or scared by something.
When a horse's ears are pinned back (Flat against the back of it's head.) it is telling you "Back off buddy!" It means the horse is not in a good mood. (It is not happy.) This could be followed by a kick or a bite, so watch out and back up!
When merely slanted back, they are just listening to something behind then. When pinned flat against the head, they are angry. there's a big difference. it usually means that they are frightened or confused-Emma
Well this would depend on what you mean by 'flap'. A horse may 'flop' it's ears out to the side if it's bored, asleep, or even upset. They may wiggle their ears to try and dislodge a pest or debris. Sometimes a horse will lay it's ears back in anger or lay them sideways if they are ill. They also swivel their ears if they are listening to something.
It means you are scared of horses.
if the horses ears are slanted backwards it mean they might be unsure of angry
Howrse answer: angery
he's mad
He/She is relaxed.
If a horse's ears are simply slanted backward they are usually "listening" to the rider; however if they are pinned to the head (you wouldn't even see them from a distance) the horse is angry.
If your horse has it's ears slightly back then that means It's listening to something behind them. However, if your horse has it's ears pinned back all the way, then that means it's angry at or scared by something.
Hes is listening or dozing
depends... it could mean it's angry and going to bite. Some horses ears are naturally back. sometimes they're smelling... Theres a few possible answers.
This means the horse is scared and afraid, and in some cases angry. You should calm him down by feeding it a treat or stroking him.
There are different degrees of 'backwards'. If his ears just flick back in a relaxed manner he is listening to something behind him. If his ears are pinned back flatter on his head he is sending a warning that he is not happy. It could result in a bite or a kick so when you see his ears like this be on your toes.
it means it doesn't like being treated badly
If the horses ears are pinned extremely far back, their head is raised, their eyes wild, the horse is frightened and angry, trying to tell you to back off. This is dangerous for you and the horse. If it's gentle, relaxed, it's probably listening to the ride or whats behind it. Or half asleep. =)
