It will depend uon the translation/version of The Bible one uses if the word superstition is used. Suffice it to say, the Bible does not teach men to follow the ideas of other men/philosophers but to obey fully the word of God. He is truth and has given His Word (Scripture) to help guide mankind in this life.
Isaiah 2:6New International Version (NIV)The Day of the LORD
6 You, LORD, have abandoned your people,
the descendants of Jacob.
They are full of superstitions from the East;
they practice divination like the Philistines
and embrace pagan customs.
We are warned not to delve into or believe in the practices of men whether it is called superstitions, divination, customs/beliefs of pagan cultures (Colossians 2:8-10). These will only deceive and lead one astray.
I believe that is a superstition.
The word superstition is normally a noun. For instance, in the sentence "Molly has a superstition about black cats," the word is a noun. You could also say "Molly has a superstitious fear of black cats," where "superstitious" is an adjective describing the word fear. The only case I can think of where superstition would be an adjective would be something where you were talking about the Superstition Mountains in Arizona.
yes it say in the bible to be always charitable in the bible always read your bible and prayers
some say it comes from Africa and some say from Oregon but I'm not sure
Not that I'm aware of. But there is a place in the Bible that says, You are a lier if you say you have not sinned.
It does not say this in the bible.
No, the Bible does not say this.
No. This is superstition and not real.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say you will not be loved. The whole Bible talks about how much you are loved.
The Bible does not say anything about Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was started by the Pilgrims/Indians, which was after the Bible was written.
The bible does not say anything about dreaming for Jesus.
It simply does not say this in the Bible.
