Here are the main duties of Governor:

  1. Acts as the chief executive of his/her own state
  2. Makes appointments to commissions and boards
  3. When necessary, removes officials
  4. Calls the special sessions of the legislature
  5. Vetoes or signs bills
  6. Serves as the commander in cheif
  7. Represents his/her own state

Those are the duties of the Governor Official.
