Jailbreaking a phone is partially legal and partially illegal. I have a post regarding this http://www.techlucid.com/2013/11/is-jailbreaking-illegal-or-not/
it's legal but you will lose your warranty
No you don't because if you told the carrier your phone you jail broke your phone it could get bricked. Bricked means its deactivated and you can't use it anymore. Technically jailbreaking you phone is legal but if you buy any free apps with it then they brick you phone if they find out.
no, your phone will be the same except cydia will be installed
You can't lock your iPhone apps without jailbreaking the phone.
Yes, but only iphones, you may be able to hack another mobile phone but the term of 'Jailbreaking' is just for Iphones and Ipod touches.
No, to jailbreak your iPod Touch, simply download the application you wish to use and follow the prompts on screen. Although it is suggested to maintain a backup, it is normally not necessary and the jailbreaking process is normally harmless to your phone. All user data is kept throughout the jailbreaking process.
There is no app that will jailbreak your phone, ipod or ipad. Think about it: apps come from Apple, and they are not going to give you that kind of information. There are websites about jailbreaking Apple devices (Google is your friend!) and there are stores and services that will do this for you. Just be careful - jailbreaking your device will void your Apple warranty.
Jailbreaking can only be done for iPod Touches and iPhones. No other phone has the ability to be jailbroken. For an iPhone, you need to download a software from the internet to jailbreak it.
There is no such thing as a pineapple phone. There is, however, the apple I-phone, and when you jailbreak it to get free apps and such, the apple icon turns into a pineapple. Jailbreaking is a DIY thing, though. I wouldn't recommend it.
Not at all! Even if you end up jacking up your phone you can always restore from iTunes!
