This is a FRAM air filter. It fits a Ford Focus but I can't remember what year or CC.
Step one is to remove the old filter, simply open the air filter box and pull the old filter out. Next slide the new filter in place, ensuring it fits snugly. Close the air filter box and you're done. Most air filter boxes open/close via clasps so no special tools should be required.
from what I remember, remove the shroud that fits near the wiper linkages the filter should be located in there. Bonnet up!
the hose that fits on the air filter on my 88 dodge dynasty was taken loose from the motor, I know it fits on to the manifold but I can't find where it hook up. help
TI236 - Listed as Suits TS1610, TS1910, but is identical to the one that came in my TS1700.
this car does not have a cabin air filter when you take off the plastic covers there you can see into the air box where the blower is but there is no filter in it. Apparently they never put one in when they made the car but i bought a cabin air filter for a 2002 buick regal and it fits in perfectly. Lots of GM cars have the same designs and parts, just like so many have the 3800 engine
You can find the air filter compartment just next to the battery. It has four clips to keep the cover on. In order to change the filter you have to unlock those clips and remove the cover. After inspect the air filter place you might need to clean it (use a vacuum cleaner or water wetted tissue). After that install a new filter put the cover back, make sure that it fits properly, and lock the clips. Never start the engine without the air filter.
no. the air filter is to filter air, while the fuel filter is used to filter the fuel.
