"Nous avons amuse" doesn't exist in that exact form, but with an accent on the verb (amusé) and followed by a complement : "Nous avons amusé [le chien]" it would be translated by : We entertained the dog.
You could also have mispelled "Nous nous sommes amusés" wich means We had fun.
