Based on my research as to what the differences are, purebreds are pure, from the word itself. For example, white combined with white or purple with purple.

Hybrids, on the other hand, are produced through cross breeding; i.e. they're a composite of mixed origin. For example, yellow with green would result in yellow if it were the dominant trait.

Well, a purebred is made by one kind of something, let's use birds as an example. If two Red-lored Amazons had baby birds together, that would be a pure bred. However, if a Yellow-naped Amazon and a Red-lored Amazon had babies together, it would be a hybrid, which are not as much money as purebreds.

It means 100% of its breed. For example, a purebred golden retriever would be 100% golden retriever.

What purebred means is that it's all the same....if you were doing a punnett square you would do SS or TT or ss or tt. Purebred means that cultivation of a species of animal through selective breeding.

What else can I help you with?

Would it stilll be considered purebred if you crossed purebred dominant and purebred recessive?

If you cross a purebred dominant and a purebred recessive individual, the offspring would be considered hybrids, not purebreds. Purebreds result from breeding within the same purebred line, whereas hybrids are the result of crossing individuals from two different purebred lines.
