Not carrots, but green carrot TOPS. Or alfalfa, or most green leafy plants. They really seemed to enjoy the leaf lettuce in my garden this year.
They also like to eat banannas. I have a friend that if you have a bananna and pass his cage without giving it some of your bananna, he'll get mad at you.
