He raised his hand to reply to the teacher's question.
reply means to answer back.
'je te manque beaucoup' means 'you miss me a lot' The reply is yours to be chosen - one cannot answer for you.
Both are terms, but for different aspects of a reply. You would decide what form and language to use "for the reply to Anne." If you were describing the contents of the reply, not the form, you would say that a word or phrase was "in the reply to Anne."
Thanks (informal) Thank you (formal) A good reply to this is "Bitte" meaning you are welcome (it can also mean "excuse me")
The correct plural is replies. The spelling reply's would indicate either1) a possessive form (Your reply's tone seemed hostile, meaning the tone of the reply) or2) a contraction (My reply's in the mail, meaning the reply is in the mail).
The correct spelling is "answer" (a reply, to reply).
Yes, it does.
respond
Wow, too many unknowns. First, what do you mean by a reply? If you mean a reply from an intelligent creature, that has evolved to the point they could receive the message and then send a reply -- we don't know there are any such creatures. If you mean a reply from a transponder in a near Earth satellite the answer is less then a second.
It means to "Answer" or "Reply"
they expect written response
RE as in REply.
its negative! negative reply, answer that is not positive
"Lo estoy" in Spanish means "I am doing it" or "I am, it" depending on the context. The verb "estoy" is the first person singular form of the verb "estar" which means "to be".
Each IP packet has information about the destination, and the origin. "Reply IP address" probably refers to the origin; it is to the origin that any reply will have to be sent.
It is a reply to the question: como esta? (How are you?) Bien y tu is the reply (well, and you?)
Read and not reply
I am good. (reply)
