Balthasar, Romeo's servant, brings the news of Juliet's death.
Juliet's nurse
the interview was very straight forward. romeo told Juliet's nurse that he wants to marry Juliet and he told he that if Juliet really loved him she would agree to it.
He buys it because Balthasar has just told him that Juliet is dead and he vows to kill himself if they can't be together. He can't live without his Juliet.
Romeo learns of Juliet's death through a message sent by Friar Laurence. The friar's letter detailing Juliet's fake death arrives after Romeo has been banished from Verona. Romeo does not receive the full information, leading to tragic consequences.
Friar Lawrence told Juliet that she should take the sleeping pills he gives her, then she will be carried to her bedroom. When the nurse finds her, she will think she is dead because she is so asleep. Then she will be carried to a mortuary. Word will be sent to Romeo that she is pretending she is dead and which mortuary. Everything works except the word about Juliet does not get through. So when Romeo finds of Juliet's death, he goes to the mortuary. Thinking she is dead, he kills himself on the sleeping pills that Juliet has taken. After that, Juliet awakens, and, finding Romeo dead, kills herself with his dagger.
The ironic part is that Juliet drank a potion to make it look like she was dead. While Romeo drank a poison to actually kill himself, both poisons and potions come from plants which is what friar Laurence was explaining in act 1.
