Santa likes to have a hearty meal before heading out on Christmas Eve. He needs all the energy he can get to deliver all the toys by morning, so he eats goose since that is the traditional Christmas meat. He also eats lots of turnip greens and sweet potatoes, beets and sauerkraut. If you'd like to grow as strong as Santa, you should eat these foods, too. He doesn't eat dessert; he has to save room for all the cookies and milk left out for him by all the boys and girls.

How do people in Finland celebrate Christmas?

In Finland every family cleans their house. The reason they do that is because they are getting ready for the three holy days which is Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing day. On Christmas Eve many people eat rice porridge and a type of sweet soup made from dried fruits. Santa Claus brings gifts to people's houses just like in America. If there is a household that has little kids Santa will put the gifts under the tree but if they is like teenagers in that household then the presents will be placed in a big sack under the door. Many families go to the grave-yard to place a candle onto the graves of their family member(s).
