It might be called shimmying.
Kappas, mythical creatures from Japanese folklore, are often depicted as water-dwelling beings that shimmy or shake as part of their playful and mischievous nature. This shimmying is thought to be a way they express excitement or to attract attention. Additionally, it may serve as a means of demonstrating their agility and strength, especially when engaging with humans or other creatures. Their shimmying behavior adds to their whimsical and enigmatic character in folklore.
If the tires sound out of balance but the car is not shimmying, it could be that the balancing weights fell off one of the wheels. Noisy tires are also tires that have too little air.

If the steering wheel shimmy's at 55 -ish, then the front tires need balancing. Otherwise front end shake could mean something loose or worn in the front like a bad tie rod, ball joint, wheel bearing, strut/shock or cv shaft. You can jack the front end and check for play by grabbing the wheels with tires on shimmying the wheel left and right(tie rod). Up and down(ball joint) or excessive play could be the wheel bearing. Any excessive play indicates loose components.
Well, darling, the crankshaft sensor on a 1999 GMC Jimmy is located behind the harmonic balancer at the front of the engine. You'll have to do a little shimmying and shaking to get to it, but it's not rocket science. Just make sure to disconnect the battery before you start poking around under the hood, unless you're looking to give yourself a little shock therapy.
Yes, bad tie rods can cause shimmy in a vehicle. Tie rods are crucial components of the steering system, and if they are worn or damaged, they can lead to improper alignment and instability in the steering. This instability can result in a shaking or shimmying sensation, especially at higher speeds. It's important to address any issues with tie rods promptly to ensure safe driving and proper vehicle handling.

Not all padlocks can be successfully shimmed open, but many conventional ones can be. Shimmying involves using a shim to bypass the locking mechanism, which is effective on certain types of padlocks, especially those with lower security designs. High-security locks often incorporate anti-shimming features that make this method ineffective. Therefore, the ability to shim a padlock largely depends on its design and security features.

Tilt the wiper arm up and away from the windshield. There is a two pronged tab you must pull out. This tab will hold the arms upright and away from the windshield. You may need a pair of needle nose to grab the tab. Now once the arm is locked up pull up firmly with two hands on the arm and it should come off. May take some wiggling and shimmying. Hope this helps
