Sin is a destroyer. If a person sins habitually and is a Christian God will take that person out of the lives of other Christians, sometimes by an early death. Sin will destroy the local church, which is part of the Body of Christ. Many Christ believing Churches have gone under because of sin in the membership.

An occasional sin if confessed will be forgiven by God as all persons sin, even Christians, but Christians are strongly encouraged to repent of their occasional sins and confess them to God. If Christians do this the Body of Christ is healed. See I John 1:9.)

What does Romans chapter 6 verses 12-13 mean?

Romans chapter 6 is all about the motive for right living. We cannot be servants of sin and servants of Christ at the same time. In, verses 12-13, Paul talks about the lusts of our mortal body as instruments of unrighteousness and sin and how we should instead use ourselves as instruments of righteousness. He adds that the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (vs. 23).

What divisions are there within Christianity?

Well at its root, Christianity means a body that follows Christ. Therefore, there cannot be divisions within a body. Sin causes people to separate, but there is no division in Christ.

How can one be tormented in hell for sin when Romans 6 7 says that he who dies is freed from or acquitted from sin?

I don't want this to come across wrong, but you can't take a verse apart from the verses it's with, called context (with text)The passage is:5For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,6knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;7for he who has died is freed from sin.8Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,9knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.The passage is talking about if we unite ourselves with Christ (become a Christian) then we are freed from the penalty of sin when we die. Those who die without Christ will pay the penalty of their sins. Look at verse 8 above, if we die with Christ, we shall live with Christ, in heaven.

WHAT is the only sin that God can not forgive?

The only sin that cannot be forgiven by God is the sin of rejecting the Holy Spirit's guidance and prompting for repentance. This is often referred to as "the unpardonable sin" or "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit." It is essentially a complete and final rejection of God's offer of forgiveness and salvation.

What is the curse for sin?

Separation from the presence of God. No unclean thing can enter His presence...Only through Christ can we be made clean and qualify to return to Him.Answer:Sin's curse was upon God's perfect creation, after Adam fell in sin. Death & deterioration physically plagues all of creation. This is true as well for man, but he also experiences spiritual death, unless he receives God's remedy, which is Christ's payment for our sins on the Cross. When he/she does trust in Christ, a person is forgiven and made right with God, or becomes righteous through the blood that Christ shed for us. All of creation will experience the freedom from sin's curse, upon the full redemption of man, upon the day when Christ returns: "The creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body." Romans 8:21-23.
