They're boys
Los chicos son lindos.
Muchacho
You could say "Los chicos son extraños." Edit: a better way to say it would be "Los niños son raros"
Kids is an English word and is not a Spanish word (to the best of my knowledge). If you want to know how to say kids in Spanish, the word is chicos.
"The boys in school are..." is an English equivalent of "Los chicos en la escuela son... ."Specifically, the masculine plural definite article "los" means "the." The masculine noun "chicos" means "boys." The preposition "en" means "in." The feminine singular definite article "la" means "the." The feminine noun "escuela" means "school." The verb "son" means "(They) are."The pronunciation is "loh-STCHEE-koh-sehn lah e-SKWEH-lah sohn... ."

"Es" and "son" mean "is" and "are" in Spanish.
The boys are...
Te amo chicos, or amigos.

Chicos guapos
"Me encantan los chicos" in Spanish means "I love boys" or "I really like boys." The verb "encantar" is used to express a strong fondness or enthusiasm for something.
