Most spam is Worms and like Malicious software, they can damage your computer.
I suggest you use a really good AV Software (E.G. ESET, Kaspersky etc.) to get rid of them. you could also use MBAM and Hitman Pro 3.5.9 or above to remove them.

∙ 12y agoMost favorite trend for the spammers is,they force you to go to their website when ever you are browsing or opening a search engine.This helps them to recognize them when you are online.It can also contain Viruses,Trojan or Worms.They will attach these spams to your Operating system you are using
so that you cannot remove them or ignore them,if you try to do so then your computer might get "hang" or some time it becomes so pathetic that we are unable to control them,which result's in system crash,continuous shut down.
At last you are only left with one option "Rebooting".Basically we term these type of techniques as "SPYWARE & AD WARE".
So as per my advice you should always have your backup on disk or any storage device specially the information important and worthy to you if you are a professional user
