Best Answer

A stoat (aka ermine) is a carnivorous weasel-like creature that preys on rabbits, voles, and other larger small animals. It is unusual from other weaselly critters because it tends to eat larger prey than the usual prey size of its family. The stoat also rarely eats amphibians and reptiles.
