What does the Azure Flute do and how else may you obtain Arceus?

The Azure Flute allows you to capture Arceus in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. You must go back to the Spear Pillar where you caught Dialga/Palkia and step onto the square. The Azure Flute will automatically play. Then, go up the steps to capture Arceus. The Azure Flute is only obtainable through rare and special Nintendo Events. The only other method to self-obtain it, is to use an Action Replay. An alternative method is trading it over from a friend. You may also try the GTS, but I highly doubt that anybody would be willing to give up their Arceus for anything else.

It can actually only be obtained in a event but if you have cheat codes you can get it.

go to the battle tower and win a lot of times and then you buy 2 rare candy for 48 BP each and the lady at the counter will give you the azul flute and to capture arceus you go to spear pillar(where you capture Dialga or Palkia)and play the flute and stairs will appear you go up them and arceus will appear and you battle it and it can be any type so be prepared

Arceus is in the hall of origins directly above spear pillar you will need the azelf flute(event item) to make the stair case appear that leads to arceus(not easy to get)You had to get Arceus in an event. The event already ended so maybe you can get some codes.(I don't know any codes) Or you can trade with someone else who has Arceus. Then you can get to The Ruins of Alph and get Palkia, Dialga, or Girantina with Adament orb. Then you can trade back(unless you're keeping it)
