It really depends on what the bow means.
A bow can be a sign of respect, and Romans 13:1-7 tells us: " . . .Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities... Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor...." (NASB)
**As a form of greeting and a show of respect for an honored guest, Abraham bowed to the earth.(Genesis 18:1, 2 ). Christians should take the lead in showing proper honor to those who call for such. If bowing is culturally expected, so be it. (Romans 12:10).
**But bowing to someone (or some THING)as a form of worship, would NOT be acceptable, as God is the only one who should be worshiped. (Acts 10:25, 26; Revelation 19:10 ) People sometimes have a tendency to show devotion to other humans to the point where they would obey them rather than God, 'bowing' to them to do THEIR will (as we saw in Nazi Germany), but as the scriptures point out, THIS would be improper honor (Acts 12:21, 22)(Acts 5:29) (Ps. 115:4-8).
God says treat everyone as you'd like to be treated. He says that you must love everybody no matter what. He says to forgive everyone as much as you'd like to be forgiven by God. He says that even though we occasionally disrespect God he still respects us so we should do the same.
Bowing is a sign of respect in Japan. Many people bow when they greet others, usually when they are not so close to them. For example, if I met my boss for the first time, I would say hello or shake hands and then bow to show respect. Another example would be if there was a classroom full of students, and the teacher enters, and the whole student body would rise and bow while saying "good morning." Many people in Japan also bow when thanking someone. It may sound odd, but it's really not a big deal there and people do it without thinking. My mother even used to bow while speaking to someone on the phone!
the bible says that your child should work clean and respect and that's if your child moves out she/him should learn how to clean
you have to Say it because it mean to respect people
When the bible was created, they didn't know that anything but white people existed.
It doesn't. Dinosaurs were unknown by the people who wrote the Bible.
They are unique
Sure they can. But who would want THAT? There are plenty of people out there who can say they love you and not respect you. Real love and respect go hand in hand. If they really love you they will respect you. If they don't respect you - it's not love plain and simple.
capitolize Bible, please. we must show respect to God's word. ok here's your answer gold and honeycomb though the Bible does say that the Bible is to be desired more than gold and is sweeter than honeycomb
The Bible does say about people going to Church (Temples). Read Matthew Chapter 6.
In India people often greet each other by holding their palms together and bowing their heads as they say "Namaste."
The bible clearly states do not get yolked to unbelievers.
Nowhere!
