The Bible is not very clear on "about how much." But here's what I found (see below). let's analyze together, Ok?
ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN TITHING DOCTRINE
[7] Deut. 14:22-29, "Thou shall truly TITHE all the INCREASE of thy SEED, that the field brings forth year by year."
Israel never tithed from their poverty, but on their INCREASE...... God never intended for people to tithe on what they didn't have, but only on the increase of what God gave them.
Paul never taught the Gentiles to tithe, but he did teach them to give freely from what they had, not from what they didn't have:"I want to suggest that you finish what you started to do a year ago, for you were not only the first to propose this idea, but the first to begin doing something about it. Having started the ball rolling so enthusiastically, you should carry this project through to completion just as gladly, GIVING WHATEVER YOU CAN OUT OF WHATEVER YOU HAVE. Let your enthusiastic idea at the start be equaled by your realistic action now. If you are really EAGER TO GIVE, then it isn't important HOW MUCH YOU HAVE TO GIVE. God wants you to give WHAT YOU HAVE, NOT WHAT YOU HAVEN'T" (II Cor. 8:10-12, The Living Bible).
THE SCRIPTURES KNOW NOTHING OF "CHRISTIAN TITHING"
Jesus Christ's followers did not pay tithe to Him from farm products or herds; neither did His followers pay Him ten percent of their salaries from other sources of income.
GIVING IS VOLUNTARY
The New Testament teachings on giving are unpretentiously simplistic involving the heart and not some law:"…freely ye have received, freely give" (Matt. 10:8b).
"Give to him that asks you, and from him that would borrow of you turn not thou away" (Matt. 5:42).
"The churches in Macedonia and Achaia, you see, have thought it a good thing to make a contribution towards the poor Christians in Jerusalem. They have decided to do this, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the gentiles have had a share in the Jews' spiritual good things it is only fair that they should look after the Jews as far as the good things of this world are concerned"(Rom. 15:26-27, J. B. Phillips Translation).
"Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over…" (Luke 6:38).
"I have showed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35).
"But this I say, He which sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity[Gk: 'compulsion' as in a commanded law]: for God loves a cheerful giver" (II Cor. 9:6-7).

Numbers 18:25 Then Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying: 26 "And you should speak to the Levites, and you must say to them, 'YOU will receive from the sons of Israel the tenth part that I have given to YOU from them for YOUR inheritance, and YOU must contribute from it as a contribution to Jehovah a tenth part of the tenth part.
The Bible talks about tithing in the Old Testament, which is 10% of earnings, but there is no law that states a said amount has to be given. The Bible says the giver should give with a cheerful heart and give what he/she has decided within their heart to give.
Yes, leviticus 27:32 says to give a tenth of your earnings meaning 10% of your earnings.
There is no hard and fast rule. You give what you can afford. Most Christian churches ask for a tithe, or 10% of the income of the individual.
Look at Malachi 3.8-12. God takes offerings very seriously
The money you give to the church has nothing to do with God, or how He views you. Your donation is simply to maintain the church. God will give unlimited to you if you let him into your life. No matter how much money you have and give.
You can put in as much or as little as you want. That is up to you. People give what they can afford. For special collections, they may give more. Some people can afford more or are more generous and some can't afford to give much. Give what you can.
Even if you aren't a part of a local church (which is a terrible mistake), for a Christian, there is really only one Church. A tithe is 10% of your income that God commands his children to give back to him. If you don't have a church right now, give to a ministry that you believe in.
It means that the Church can use the good things in the world to evangelize it with the truth of the Church.
They can give offerings in church, but they can support missionaries.
The tithe was one tenth of a person's production, so a farmer, for example, would give the Church one tenth of his crop.
They where bunch of panzys .
This question would be better addressed to whatever dogmatic church told you they couldn't be, because any answer we might give would probably be "wrong" in their view. There is some Biblical justification for the notion of church attendance, but church membership? Not so much.
You didn't give much details, but basically, you shouldn't. The purpose of a religion, church, or whatever you call it, is to promote unity and harmony among people; if it does otherwise, it is NOT fulfilling its purpose.
Henry VIII set up the Anglican church when the pope wouldn't give him a divorce.
While it's fine and good to contribute to the church if your heart and understanding leads you to do so, there's no reason whatsoever to give money to the church specifically for baptizing.
so we can respect him and give him our love that is the symbol of the church to God
