I am sorry to say this if you are a medium, but yes. The medium themselves may not be evil, but those spirits and visions come from deceiving spirits (demons). It says many times in the old testament that even Satan himself can disguise as a holy angel, also can his worshipers. The LORD also warns against going to spiritist and mediums because they (whether they know it or not) work hand in hand with demons. Saul, in desperate panic, fled to see a medium (she was known as the witch of Endor) to bring back the recently dead prophet Samuel. God intervened and stopped the mediums powers and actually brought back Samuel himself. The medium confessed that this time, it was not her that brought him. It is the only time in the bible that a medium had not conjured something evil. Later, God killed Saul for going to a medium instead of the LORD. In the bible, God tells us never to go to mediums. He ask us to live through the holy spirit (following our hearts), Jesus Christ (by seeking help with the bible), and praying to the LORD. Most mediums are not aware that what they do Is very real and dangerous. I hope that helped.
