The panda is endangered species dying because we humans are tearing down the bambo area that they eat from. Pandas are also adorable which make them a universal symbol for green earth. Pandas are just another reaseon we need to take care of our Earth so maybe that's what their symbol is trying to say! Save pandas= save the world!!!

Well... There are more blue whales than Pandas. But Pandas can be kept, bred and raised in captivity, protected. You can't do that to blue whales. So I'd say the blue whale is at greater risk of exctinction than the pandas.
