You may be seeing an intertwined A and F on the coin's front. That's the monogram of the coin's designer, Anthony (Antonio) de Francisci, which is below Miss Liberty's neck on the coin's obverse. An "L" in any other place was probably added after the coin left the mint.
The US never printed 100 dollar silver certificates with this date.
A 1924 United States Peace Dollar is worth anywhere from $20.00 to $300.00.
1924 makes it a Peace dollar, so the mint mark is located on the reverse (tails) side, just below the word "one."
If you mean a real silver dollar, such as a Morgan or peace dollar the thickness is 2.4mm
In 1907 there were no mintmarks on pennies.
The US didn't print any bills dated 1924. Please check again and post a new, separate question.
One is currently worth at least $16 for the silver content and close to $40 in uncirculated condition. The 1924-S is worth more than the '24-P.
Still no 1942 silver dollar US coin. If you mean a 1942 US half dollar it's worth $7.00-$9.00 in circulated condition.
Sorry NO 1924 gold US dollar coins.
To clear things up, the word TRVST is not a misspelling. It's written using the Roman alphabet, which was a use of artistic license that was extremely popular during the early part of the 20th century. Please see the question "What is the value of a 1924 US silver dollar?" for more information.
All Peace and Morgan silver dollars contained 24.03 gm (0.7735 oz) of silver when new. That was alloyed with copper in the ratio 90% / 10%.
Please check your bill again and post a new, separate question. There were no US $5 bills dated 1924, and the last red-seal $5 silver certificates were dated 1896.
