That's not Samoan. Maybe Tongan or Cook Island.
It's not Tongan. I'm part Tokelauan/Samoan/tongan. I know my tongan well as I was brought up there if it's not Samoan than why is it in the Samoan bible it's in the book of Isaiah. My father is part tokelauan/Samoan and he's 65 born in apia and he's never heard this word before that's why I'm asking if anyone knows the meaning than it'll be great as far as I know it might mean Discouraged but if there's another word for discouraged in Samoan than please let me know thanks
Did you ask this question?...Ok my apologies. I thought it was an everyday word. Yeah Samoan Bible words are alot more complicated. Try looking at an English Bible version of the exact same scripture and you might find what you're looking for. Sorry I wasnt able to help. Can you please let me know what the verse is (in the Samoan bible). Cheers!
Yes I did! That's ok no worries. I guess I should have been more clear in what I was asking. I did and so did my father but he still doesn't get it I'm sorry for being so dramatic about it. It's in Isaiah 41 verse 10 ciao
Alsowe is not a Samoan word.
its a Samoan swear word
Thats not a Samoan word. It sounds Hawaiian or Rarotongan maybe? Definetly not Samoan.
Whanau - Maori Aiga - Samoan Both mean "family"
Sini
Vevela
church
snap
Amen
team
Fight
Agilau - blow steadily. There is no Samoan word "angilau", only "agilau". So I am wondering if this question is a Samoan word, or whether it pertains to another country.
