The Resident TeaTimer is a tool of Spybot-S&D which perpetually monitors the processes called/initiated. It immediately detects known malicious processes wanting to start and terminates them giving you some options, how to deal with this process in the future. You can set TeaTimer to: * be informed, when the process tries to start again * automatically kill the process * or generally allow the process to run There is also an option to delete the file associated with this process. In addition, TeaTimer detects when something wants to change some critical registry keys. TeaTimer can protect you against such changes again giving you an option: You can either Allow or Deny the change. The TeaTimer is always running in the background

This is a great free program that will remove spyware and other like programs. Make sure that you do updates and run the program. Also, the program has a tool included called TeaTimer. I turn this tool off at setup only because it can make it hard to install and uninstall programs. A good complimenting program to Spybot is Microsoft's AnitSpyware. It is a free download from microsoft.com's home page. It will also run on a scheduled basis, which is a great way to keep your system clean. If the previous solution doesn't work hopefully you can try this. If you are using Win XP or ME you can go to Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> Systems Tools --> System Restore. When you open the program follow the steps to restore your computer to a date before the program was installed. System Restore will uninstall any programs and clean the registry back to the what your computer was like on that date, it will however not delete documents and other files. If you have to resort to this, or you just want to, I would still follow it up with installing the programs from above.
