If you will go back to the Gospel of Luke and read from chapter 1 through chapter 2 and verse 38 you will see what is unique to Jesus Christ. This story tells us that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin. He was attested to by God,God's angels, the shepherds, Simeon's
prophecy and Anna's testimony.
In Mathew's gospel, chapter 1 we are told that "His name shall be Jesus, for he shall save His people from their sins". And He will be called Immanuel, which means "God with us". Taken literally this means that Jesus Christ is God.
The wise men traveled far to pay homage to a "new born King" and that King was Jesus.
Jesus story tells us that he came to die for the sins of the world. So that we could have salvation.

No, it does not. It was the custom of that period to remember one's death but not their birth. Additionally, if it were to have been celebrated, Jesus would have told us to do it as He told us to remember His sacrifice giving mankind two symbols to use - bread and wine (see Luke 22:18-20; 1 Corinthians 11:24-25).
Read half of the book of Matthew. That should tell you that Jesus said lots of stuff directly to us. He is so amazing.
