It puts out fire
A black fire extinguiser in Britain and most countrys is CO2 or carbon dioxide you can use these on all regular fires you would come across wood and papper, electrical, fuels etc. However this will do nothing to a large fire if this should occur immediately contact the fire survice. Warning do not hold the horn on the end of the fire extinguisher as this becomes extremely cold!
