What does the brand of nail polish OPI stand for?
It stands for Ohmygod Poo Inside. Not really very exciting, is

What does O.P.I. stand for?
"Other People's Ideas . . . I'm just kidding," said Schaeffer. It is "Odontorium Products, Inc." In the early 1980s, my father took over a dental supply business from my grandfather's cousin. He formulated an acrylic nail product from that background and started out supplying to nail salons on Ventura Boulevard (Los Angeles).
I find almost any brand lasts weeks without chipping when I apply the OPI Nail Envy nail strengthener on top. Its pretty much just a hardener, but with the great quality that comes with the OPI name. Also, after removing or before applying nail polish, rubbing some olive oil on your nails naturally strengthens your nails and gives the polish a nice, even surface.
If you want to find really good quality nail polish that doesn't chip, i recommend OPI there nail polishes are really high quality, the only thing is that OPI nail polishes are quite expensive and have quiet thick brushes which personally, i like but if you have thin nails it can be difficult. these are the best quality nail polish brands OPI Jessie s girl China Glaze BYS Revlon Chi Chi
OPI makes it. - - - - - OPI was the company that "reintroduced" crackle polish, but now every nail polish company makes it. It is very easy to make: take regular nail polish and put some alcohol in it. There's already a solvent called ethyl acetate in nail polish. Alcohol and ethyl acetate evaporate at different rates, and this causes the paint film to crack. This would normally be bad, but with crackle nail…
I would have to say OPI or Sinful Colors. OPI lasts FOREVER. I had one of their colors on for most of the summer, and all it required were a few touch-ups here and there. Sinful Colors would have to be my favorite because it goes on very smoothly and their colors are beautiful. It also lasts very long, and the brand is found in many nail salons that I've been to. Hope this helps…
Most nail polish bottles such as OPI and Esse is .5 OZ. But I noticed Orley nail polish bottles are .6 OZ Most nail polish bottles will contain 4-6oz. It mainly depends on the manufacturer. Bottles from Sally Hansen range in size, so they contain different amounts of nail polish depending on the design ofthe bottle.
Nail polish can harm your nails, but they have special polishes you can put under your regular polish so it will actually help your nails. It'll turn them yellow and weak. But some people put on a base coat, THEN they put on the nail color, another coat of the nail color, and if u need to, the third coat of the nail color. and a top coat to prevent chipping. But what you should…
One nail polish brand popular with teens and used widely in nail salons, OPI Products uses multiple ingredients known or suspected to cause cancer or birth defects, including formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate (DBP). The Skin Deep report rated the brand as being of "higher concern," scoring 5.0 on the report's safety scale, with 0 being of lowest concern and 5 being of highest concern.
This is not true, the wear time for nail polish depends on the brand and application. Less product is more- meaning that you should use thin layers and wait til they dry before applying the next coat. Then make sure to use a top coat for a smooth finish and protection layer.- BUT don't forget the base coat before the first layer :) I have had the best results with OPI nail polish, opi.com
