The dcl is actuaslly the control center where you plug in a reader for reading the trouble codes it is located either in the passenger compartment under the dash on the drivers side or under the hood on the firewall depending on the model
which one the 400 or 460?.
25 gallons like the 1978
It is screwed directly in to the carburator. Looks like a small metal cylinder.
unless you installed one yourself, it doesnt have one but it sounds like it does huh lol.
It is always located right after the manifold. It looks like a spark plug with a wire going to it.
sounds like the alternator belt is loose, check it out and let me know.
if your turning signal is not working it maybe the turn signal. it was like that in my 93
the 92' Ford Taurus 3.8L, the parts are interchangeable with the 92' Lincoln Cont. 3.8L, there might be a few exceptions like the Taurus does not have a DCL (data communications link) like the Cont. so the dash will keep beeping, ill drive you nuts, you can take the dash apart and clean the connections but it will last for only a short time and may return then again maybe not.
Answerdouble check all you fuses ==========================================================I'm not a mechanic / technician but if your HORN and CRUISE CONTROL stoppedworking at the same time , it sounds like the CLOCKSPRING inside yoursteering wheel column cover* the clockspring allows you to turn the steering wheel without disconnecting the wiring connection to your horn and cruise control buttons
I had the same message on my display and the car was lurching like a fuel pump problem or something. I changed the fuel filter and ran cleaner through the fuel system and the error message has never returned. Hope that helps.
