Most of it looks like metal pipes.
Yes, bad spark plugs can cause a 2000 Dodge Intrepid to smell like gas. When spark plugs fail, they may not ignite the fuel-air mixture properly, leading to unburned fuel being expelled into the exhaust system. This can result in a strong gasoline odor, especially when the engine is running. Additionally, poor combustion can lead to increased fuel consumption and potential engine performance issues.

underneath the vehicle right by your crossmember on the passenger side it looks like a long oversized exhaust pipe
What did you like most about your last job
You might have a fuel injector leak that causes the AC in your Dodge Intrepid to smell like gasoline. When the AC pulls air from the outside, it might be pulling some gas vapors in as well.
yes i would
I would have to say no, being that in 1998 the Intrepid was rebuilt in the Chrysler format. Whenever there is a drastic rebuild like this, little to no parts from earlier models will be interchangable.
sounds like bad head gasket(s)
No different exhaust lengths and bends that's like saying can a limo exhaust fit on a pinto
15-16 gallons i just got rid of mine!! My Intrepid runs like a champ, keep up with it. Use good oil.
If standing in front of the car. Bottom left corner you will see a black knob like a stove nob. It drains slow as hell tho. It is below and to the left of the cooling fans.
my car 1997 dodge intrepid runs good for a couple of hours shuts down for 20 minutes backfires and runs again like nothing happen
