I believe the most popular driver is the Titleist 905r Driver. Their new model the Titlesit 907D2 will probably take the mantle in the future
Yes, you can. The bubble shaft is thicker below the grip, but has a normal diameter at the butt end.
In theory the driver will hit the ball farther, but it will be harder to control. Also the shaft will be slightly more flexible.
There are several places in order for one to purchase a Taylor Made Driver. However, one might want to look for some website to check the information beforehand such as justshoopok, taylormadegolf, or golf.

why propeller shaft are made hollow
Different shafts are made for different people. It is important that you get one that is made for your swing. Your swing speed determines your shaft. The faster you swing, the stiffer shaft you need. There are also things like torque which is the shafts ability to resist twisting. The faster you swing, the more torque you are going to have. For more detail on this go to the link below.
The taylormade tour burner (2008 model) is a 450cc head and a 45.5" shaft. less cc then the 2007 burner model but the combination of the shaft and superfast technology makes the club about 10 yards longer. It also has a lower launch then some of the other taylormade drivers. Just for a point of ref. I hit this club between 270-290 on average off the tee and i am a 3.7 handicap.
The bulk of a hair shaft is keratin.
