FRAM 3387A SPIN ON FILTER
It looks like what a fuel filter should be
Doesn't have one. They use a screen in the gas tank to filter the fuel.
The oil filter is located on the top side. Open the hood and look on the left side of the engine (your right)and you will see a round silver looking cylinder with a black cap with a nut shape on the cap. The filter is an insert. Unscrew the cap and the filter will lift right out.
Nothing, Chevrolet didn't make a Malibu in 1995
The oil filter is located on the top, right side, and front of the engine. It is built into the block. Look for a round black cap with a big nut shaped top. It's recommended that you purchase a special tool to take it off, but vice grips will work in a jam. The filter itself is more like the guts of a typical filter. It fits down in the well under the cap.
You need to look on the drivers side from the top. There is a a Black 32mm cap that will need to be unscrewed and the oil filter is in there.
It didn't come with a cabin filter when it left the factory. Look behind the glove compartment door, some say there is a place for one.
picture of engine
The oil filter can only be reached from up top, not on the bottom like other cars. It is near the front of the engine bay. Look for a small metal-like jar with a black lid on top. The lid has a nut designed into it to allow a wrench to unscrew it. This filter, to my surprise will cost you more at an oil chage business. They call it a cartridge filter and will charge you extra to replace it.
it looks like a radiator with coolant in! it should be red.
No,you don't have to remove the gas tank. Use a flash light and look under the car.The filter is in front of the tank. You can buy the filter removal tool at any parts store.
The oil filter is under the hood near the front of the car. Look for a silver canister type object with a black lid on top. This is the oil filter holder. Twist off lid to reveal the filter. The filter costs a little more than others as it's a drop in style.
