A Zebra is a wild horse (white, with black stripes). that live in herds in Africa. I'm not sure if Africa is the only continent they live on.They can be found at the zoo also.
The markings on a horse, on its head or legs, don't *mean* anything, anymore than the stripes on a zebra or the color of your hair.
Just because they are identical twins does not mean they are the same people. Fingerprints are as unique as a zebra's stripes, no other zebra has the same pattern.
If by markings you mean brands, it's because their owners have branded them to be identified as belonging to that farm.
