What does the rainforest look like?

It depends on which rainforest you are talking about
There are 4 main layers to a rainforest, the emergent layer (40m and above). The canopy (30m to 20m). The understory (20m to 10m). And the forest floor (10m to the ground).
The forest has an every-green appearance this is because of the continuous growing season, this means that the trees can shed their leaves and still look green and have leaves.
